These are the committee members and Directors of Australia’s Christian Heritage National Forum.

 

 

Stuart Piggin - Executive Chairman

Associate Professor Stuart Piggin is Director of the Centre for the History of Christian Thought and Experience at Macquarie University. He lectured in Religious History at the Universities of Wollongong and Sydney from 1974 to 1990 and was Master of Robert Menzies College, Macquarie University, from 1990 to 2004. He is the Founding Director of the Macquarie Christian Studies Institute. He is interested in the contribution of Christianity to nation building, the nature of spiritual experience and of religious revival, and the human impact of natural and man-made disasters. He has written over 100 articles for academic journals and seven books, including The Mount Kembla Disaster (1992) and Evangelical Christianity in Australia (1996), both published by Oxford University Press, and Firestorm of the Lord (2000), a study of revival. Evangelical Christianity in Australia was reprinted in 2004 by Strand Publishing as Spirit of a Nation. Stuart is married to Rosemary, a medico, became a grandfather in November 2005, is a fanatical supporter of the Sydney Swans, and believes that we’ll all be playing AFL in heaven.
 

Graham McDonald - Project Director

Graham is a Team Leader for Children of the World (a children’s ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) and has been involved in children’s ministry for over twenty years here in Australia and overseas. He has a heart for children as the future of our nation and as part of the Kingdom of God. He currently has one regular scripture class of 40 children. Graham is married to Margaret, with two married children and five grandchildren.
 
   
 

John Howell

John is the Executive Chairman of Transforming Leadership Inc. renewing leaders, empowering learning and transforming people’s lives in their communities, equipping qualified leaders to lead their nations, companies, organisations and churches and to train others to do the same in their spheres of influence. He is also a company director and provides consultancy services to companies, organisations and churches.

John is Australian but born in the Congo and an extensive part of his career has been on the African continent. His graduate studies have taken him to London, Switzerland and California. He has bachelor degrees in Agriculture and Theology, a master’s degree in African studies and a doctoral degree in Leadership studies. He has expanded the global reach of his service by working with some of the finest business leaders throughout the world. He lives in Sydney with his wife, Dawn, and their children, Christopher (23), David (20) and Annelyse (16).
 
   
 
   
 

Daniel Willis

Daniel is CEO of Bible Society NSW and has worked in Bible and parish ministry for over 23 years. Bible Society works in over 200 countries using the Bible in a range of ways to assist people raise their literacy levels and increase their understanding of ethics, morality and health issues. He is also the International Deputy Director of Lausanne for Oceania & Australia assisting evangelical networks to come together in their endeavours to work amongst the people’s of the world. He holds degrees in business, theology and education.

Daniel is married to Karen and they have 3 adult children.
