About Us
We are a group of Australians who are concerned to address what is being left out and forgotten when the history of Australia is taught or told – namely the significant contribution of Christianity, in not only influencing our laws and values, but also in motivating the lives of many who helped shape our nation. These pioneers, these community builders, these leaders lived out values we often struggle now to verbalise. It is important their stories are told.
Our first national forum was held in Parliament House, Canberra on 6 & 7 August, 2006. From this event we have gathered stories from participants and papers from our speakers. These are now accessible from this website. We have also produced a book from the papers read at the forum, which is available for purchase, along with CD recordings of proceedings, from our on-line shop.
